Dear all,
On behalf of our HKU Master of Social Sciences (Counselling) Alumni Association, 5 of our alumni had joined the charity walk for Home Care for Girls on 24 May 2009 (Sunday). Special thanks to Ms Angela Wong for her donation to each one of us who joined the charity walk, we have raised funds as follows:
1. James (2007) – $2100
2. Mary (2009) – $5685
3. Mable (2006) – $1100
4. Carline (2007) – $1420
5. Vava (2006) – $9350
TOTAL: $19655
It was raining cats and dogs. The walk was forced to be cancelled after we arrived at the venue, Tai Mei Tuk Reservoir. Nevertheless, some of us stayed and had bbq with the girls.
The Alumni Association offered prizes for:
1. Largest number of graduate joining (according to year of graduation)
–> Both 2006 and 2007 cohort!!!!
2. Largest sum of donation raised
–> Vava (2006)!!!
